I think it might have peaked there, if I’m honest, but the other books are still mindlessly entertaining. I meant to have the whole series done inbut better late than never! Two months after Godbersn Holland’s dramatic homecoming, Manhattan eagerly awaits godbetsen return to the pinnacle of society. However, Penelope invites herself along, and offers Carolina Broad the invitation, as well. This whole era is just so facinating to me -love the dresses love the covers of the books – it almost made me sit here and think how fun it would be to be able to wear one maybe once.

The one nit-picky thing that bugged me was how the author describes Carolina’s lips as “bee-stung” on more than one occasion. Meanwhile, Elizabeth discovers that she is enfy with Will’s child.
